The official name of India is the Republic of India. The name “India†derives from the River Indus, which most likely is derived from the Sanskrit sindhu, meaning “river.†The official Sanskrit name of India is Bharat, after the legendary king in the epic Mahabharata.
Gems of ICSE
Academics, the main focus of any educational institution, have a wide range of scope for the pupils to show their mettle. The yearlong teaching, periodical tests and exams are the areas for every pupil to accelerate his/her pace of learning and performance. The sincere efforts put by the students fetch them a distinct pleasure. To share this achievement and their commendable performance, the school honours the top scorers, i.e., first and second rank holders from each grade, as the GEMS OF ICSE every year. This is indeed a proud moment for the school, children, and of course the parents. A grand function will be arranged for this purpose in the month of June every year to honour the GEMS OF ICSE with the graduation day pattern of any university.
